Hugh van Cutsem

…co-founded Kepler Partners in 2008. Prior to this, he created and led the investment trust department of Smiths CA Ltd, where he worked for four years. Hugh built up a large and diverse client base of closed end funds. Whilst there he was directly involved in raising over £350m through both IPOs and C share issues for investment company clients during 2006/7, almost exclusively from private client fund managers. Prior to this Hugh worked at Cazenove as an Investment Trust salesman for 7 years.

William Heathcoat Amory

…co-founded Kepler Partners in 2008. Previously, he had been an investment companies analyst for 9 years, initially with Brewin Dolphin but for the majority of the time with the Extel No 1 rated team at Cazenove. William had broad responsibility across a range of sectors but with specific responsibility for hedge funds, infrastructure, REITs and Private Equity.

Tom Trotter

…joined Kepler in 2008 and previously had four years of experience in open-ended fund sales at Bedlam Asset Management where he was Director of Sales. Over this period, he built and maintained relationships with a cross-section of investors varying from financial advisors and private client brokers to large multi-managers and private banks across the UK and Europe. Prior to Bedlam, Tom worked for three years at a city head-hunting firm focusing on investment management and banking.

Laurie Robathan

…has worked in the Fund Management industry for 8 years. He started on the Broker Desk at SWIP and then moved on to Close in 2008 where he was a Sales Manager. He has experience of dealing with both open and closed-ended funds across a range of asset classes. Laurie has looked after Multi-Managers, Discretionary Fund Managers and IFAs in London, the South East and the South West.

Georg Reutter

…worked as a Hedge Fund Adviser for HSBC Private Bank’s Alternative Investment Group for three years. Whilst there he focused on single and multi-manager Hedge Fund due diligence, portfolio management and client advisory. His responsibilities included evaluation, analysis and advising on hedge fund portfolios investing in offshore, listed, multi-manager and UCITS III hedge funds primarily for UK based investors.
